K-Tek Harnesses Small vs Regular: Comparison
Jan 04,2024 | Pinknoisesystems

We tested out the small and regular K-Tek Harnesses to make it easier for our customers to see the difference between the two. We got our new team member Krish to test them out.
Here are some details:
- Krish is 5ft 7in (173cm)
- Small Harness Spine Length: 37cm
- Regular Harness Spine Length: 47cm
Here is what Krish had to say about each harness:
The small harness is compact, snug and fully adjustable. At first it offered little support for the K-Tek Small X bag and felt very uncomfortable as we hadn’t adjusted the spine (see photo below).

Small harness not adjusted.
As you can see from the photo the spine is too far up the back giving no support for the lower back where all the weight is held. However, the exoskeleton spine can be adjusted to fit lower down the back and offer more support (See photo below).

Small Harness adjusted.
This harness would be perfect for uses where there needs to be lots of changes to the soundbag over a short amount of time. The regular harness had full back support and extra padding which felt a lot more comfortable and supportive. I also found that this harness helped me keep good posture which when carrying a sound bag all day will be very helpful. This harness would be perfect for longer days with heavy sound bags and equipment as it offers the full amount of support. Both harnesses have fully adjustable features including the multiple support straps and the exoskeleton spine which makes it easy to adjust to the body and allows for maximum support. Below are photos of the front, back and side of the both harnesses so you can visually see the difference between the two.
