Audioroot eSMART Duo Cable Input Assembly
To deliver maximum versatility in demanding audio workflows, Audioroot offers five user-installable input cable harnesses for the eSMART DUO smart power distributor. These modular cables allow for easy customization to suit your preferred power sources—whether legacy batteries or modern USB-C.
Installation is quick and easy—only a TX8 and a TX10 screwdriver are required.

- DUO-CAB-TU
Combines 1 x TA4M connector and 1 x USB-C PD input for integration with both smart batteries and USB-C power delivery sources. - DUO-CAB-CU
Features 1 x smart battery cup and 1 x USB-C PD input, allowing flexible powering from modern USB-C adapters.
USB-C Power Delivery Input
The USB-C PD input allows the eSMART DUO to be powered from a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) supply. A minimum of 15V PD profile is required for operation. However, for optimal performance, we highly recommend a PPS-compatible USB-C power supply, which enables the DUO to run at 17.0V.
At 17V, your equipment draws power primarily from the USB-C source, preserving your 16.8V lithium-ion battery for backup. In case of AC power loss or USB-C disconnection, the DUO automatically switches to battery power without any interruption—ensuring uninterrupted operation in the field.
